Are you renting one of our own vans — the 6-person Mercedes Sprinter, 7-person Volkswagen Crafter or 7-person Renault Master? Please read the information below.

Important information about our vans

This is a short summary of the most important things you need to know when renting one of our vans. Everything is also covered in our complete

Terms and Conditions — and yes, they do apply! To make things easier, we’ve listed the key points below.

• Rental period: A rental day officially starts at 10:00 AM on the rental date and ends at 9:00 AM the following day, unless agreed otherwise in advance. We are usually flexible with these times if our planning allows it. However, please do not assume that you can pick up earlier or return later without discussing it with us first.
• Diesel: The van comes with a full tank of diesel and must be returned with a full tank. If the van is returned without a full tank, we will charge the diesel costs plus VAT.
• Environmental zones: The van has a modern diesel engine and is permitted in environmental zones in most cities. However, some cities require an environmental registration or permit. The van is already registered for France, Germany, Brussels, Ghent and London (excluding London’s inner-city Congestion Charge). For other cities or areas, you are responsible for checking and arranging any required registrations or permits.
• AdBlue: Modern diesel engines use AdBlue, and the van cannot operate without it. If the van indicates that AdBlue needs to be refilled, please fill the designated AdBlue tank. AdBlue is available at most larger petrol stations. We will reimburse the cost.
• Invoice: You will receive the invoice afterwards, unless agreed otherwise. Normally, you will only be charged the agreed rental price — no surprises. Additional charges may apply in the event of damage, fines or missing diesel. For fines, we charge €15.50 excluding VAT in administration costs.
• Insurance: The van is fully insured. The deductible is €1,000 per damage incident for damage below a height of 2 metres. For damage above 2 metres, a higher deductible of €5,000 applies.
• Damage or defects: In case of damage or defects, regardless of who is responsible, please inform us as soon as possible, preferably with photos, and complete a claim form where applicable. Please also report minor damage, broken items, malfunctions or warning lights on the dashboard. If you continue driving after becoming aware of a defect or damage, you may be held fully liable for any additional damage resulting from this.
• Roadside assistance: The van has an AutoCrew roadside assistance pass. You will find the telephone number on the keychain. In case of trouble, please always try to contact us first. Regardless of who is responsible, we will do our best to get you back on the road as quickly as possible.
